Priyanka
Chopra's massive fandom cannot wait to see her back on Indian screens in SS Rajamouli's next magnum opus, Varanasi. The film, also starring Mahesh Babu, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Prakash Raj, is currently gearing up for release on April 7. While the film marks Priyanka's desi comeback, there might be a lot more in store from her end, not that she's here. Infact, the 43-year-old teased about other Bollywood films she's speculated to be part of, including her previous franchises: Krrish 4 and Don 3. The news might bring huge excitement for her Indian fans, but the actress chose to keep her word discreet, without revealing much, still managing to intrigue everyone.
Priyanka part of Krrish 4, Don 3?
During a recent interview with Screenrant, Priyanka hinted at a possible development and her return to the
Krrish and
Don films. This comes after rumours have been circulating about her involvement in the next iterations in the two franchises. She acknowledged her connection with both universes, without giving any confirmation on its production details. She said she would be "open to revisiting characters and worlds that have a strong storytelling potential." Priyanka added, "I don’t know if I can talk about either of them at all."
Mahesh Babu, who was also sitting next to her during the interview, prompted with a smile, "Then there’s something happening." Priyanka teased, "Exciting, exciting times ahead." The actress claimed that returning to Indian cinema would give her a chance to revisit aspects of performance she missed all these years. "My favourite part was getting to dance again. I haven’t done that in any of my Hollywood productions, so I was really excited," she said.

Meanwhile, in the same year 2006, Priyanka also did Shah Rukh Khan-led reboot of Amitabh Bachchan's
Don, where she reprised Roma. She returned in
Don 2 (2011). Though Don 3, a brand new reboot, was initially announced by Farhan Akhtar with Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani, things went on the back burner. But, with the movie back in motion, Priyanka's return is possible.Priyanka has been away from the Indian celluloid for the past 6 years. Her last outings in her home country was Shonali Bose's
The Sky Is Pink (2019) and her own production
The White Tiger (2021).
