What is the story about?
Peddi
is one of the most exciting releases of June 2026. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports drama stars Ram Charan in a lead role. A few days ago, the makers offered an official glimpse into the world of Peddi with its trailer. Co-starring Janhvi Kapoor and others, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 4. Ahead of that, Zoom exclusively interviewed Peddi actors Divyenndu and Boman. In conversation with us, Divyenndu shared his experience of working with Ram. Here's what the actor had to say.
Divyenndu on working with Ram Charan in Peddi
About working with Ram and the actor's transformation into Peddi, Divyenndu told us, "He is lovely and a blessed actor. That character is also a superhero type. Because there is a definition of hero in it. At the same time, he has to be vulnerable also because he comes from a certain class. He hasn't got what he wants. He is fighting for his identity. So to see him transform into that and juggle these two worlds constantly was really fascinating."

The actor added that Ram knows he is a big star and shooting for a big-budget movie. According to him, the Peddi star knows the 'commercial sur' as well. "But there is a line, and you don't have to cross it. It's like a game of tennis, the better the serve, the better the return," he mentioned.Divyenndu further stated that he doesn't want to the best actor in the room, but one of the actors. He feels a scene is about all the actors together. In fact, the actor doesn't like compliments where people they didn't like the film, but feel he was great. "You don't want that. You don't like that kind of a vibe. That kind of a world. With Ram, it was amazing. He was just there, like take after take with me. He was just there. Just a beautiful compliment," the actor said.
