Jimin tops special survey

According to Allkpop, Jimin topped the survey conducted by fan voting platform MY1PICK. The poll got him 36,947 votes, or 71 percent of the total. Along with the popularity vote, the result numerically confirmed Jimin's position based on first-hand accounts from those who have seen him in person.

The survey incorporates choices of fans and industry insiders, both in Korea and abroad. It crowns Jimin as "an artist the camera cannot keep up with." That's because voters said his face card and real-life visuals are at a different level, much more striking than what we see on screen.

ARMYs call Jimin 'pretty, sexy man'

Fans flooded social media with reactions to the poll. A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "We often say that beauty radiates from the inside out. Jimin is the living embodiment of that truth. The aura we see—the one we feel so deeply—is a reflection of the beauty that lives within him. We love You Jimin." Another fan added, "He is beautiful from inside out. His heart is pure."

Jimin, who often sports coloured hair, mostly blonde, is one of the lead vocalists of BTS and part of the maknae line, along with Jungkook and V (Kim Taehyung). The 30-year-old completed his mandatory military service and got discharged in June 2025, walking out of his base with Jungkook. Ever since, he's been seen around his group doing Weverse lives, posting candid clicks and enjoying the beaches of LA when BTS was in the US for two months to work on their upcoming album ARIRANG.

Industry calls Jimin naturally beautiful

Jimin's photographer Lee Myung-Sook, who worked with the idol on a Vogue magazine photo shoot in 2021 had earlier spoken about his looks. Lee said, "His frontal close-up structure is so perfect that when you sit across from him, you get pulled right in. I had to struggle to regain my composure. You fall for him even more in person."Allkpop also quoted professional bodyguards who have been around him and other K-pop artists. They told Channel A's digital platform, "We see many celebrities without makeup, and when you look at Jimin, the word ‘pretty’ truly fits."
