could finally be happening! After a long wait of ten years, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are reportedly teaming up once again. And not just for any filmmaker, they are coming together for their Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani director Ayan Mukerji.The said project will be special in ways more than one. Firstly, it will see the much-awaited onscreen reunion of one of the most loved jodis in modern times. And secondly, it will be based on Ranbir's great-grandfather Raj Kapoor and Nargis' classic Chori Chori.

According to a report by India Today, the Ranbir-DP starrer will be a modern tribute to the 1956 classic. Chori Chori showcased the story of a heiress who has ran away and a witty reporter. The two meet during a journey and develop a bond. Ranbir, who is said to be gearing up to revive RK Films, will be mounting the film under the iconic banner.
