Vishal
Vashishtha has been getting a lot of love for his performance in the Netflix web series Glory. He played the role of Haryana police inspector Arvind in the Divyenndu and Pulkit Samrat starrer. Vishal is paired opposite Kashmira Pardeshi, who played the role of Bharti in the web show. His character is shown as the sincere police officer who tries to investigate the case. However, the end of his character in Glory is tragic and shocking. In an exclusive interaction with Zoom, Vishal opened up about his final scene with Kashmira and said that it was a hectic one.
Vishal Vashishtha On His Final Scene
During a candid chat with us, we asked
Vishal Vashishtha about his equation working with Kashmira Pardeshi. He said that she is a fantastic actress and has had a great experience working with her. The Veera actor said, “We did pretty well on set. The energy was all positive; we were all focused on creating a good scene and a good show. Everybody was prepared with their bits; hence, the scenes happened smoothly, and we had time to improvise and move beyond the lines. It was a delight to work with Kashmira."
While speaking about the final scene, Vishal stated, “In the final scene, I had to choke her down; that was hectic. She had to suffer a few blows in the whole chaos but was a total sport about it. Cheers to her.” One of the highlights of
Glory is the chemistry between Arvind and Bharti. When asked how they broke the ice after meeting each other for the first time, the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor said, “I think the ice broke while we were at the reading itself. The scene required a certain level of comfort emotionally and physically, and we were both at ease. I think both of us thoroughly enjoyed the finale scene of Arvind and Bharti.”
Vishal Vashishtha On Brutal Death Of His Character Arvind In Glory
Arvind’s death scene is very brutal, as Bharti only kills him after he gets to know the hidden truth of her relationship with Ravi (Pulkit Samrat). When asked about the unfair end of his character, Vishal said, “Unfair, yes, definitely! The probability of Arvind being there in season 2 has dropped substantially. (laughs) But I think there was no coming back from what Arvind initiated. It was either him or Bharti. I think there’s a lesson there for the common man too; we all have unpleasant impulses, but not all of them are to be acted upon.”
On the professional front, Vishal Vashishtha is currently working on his upcoming projects. The details about the same are still unknown. Coming back to
Glory, the Karan Anshuman-created web series also features Suvinder Vicky, Sayani Gupta, Jannat Zubair, Yugam Sood and others in key roles.
