Aaromaley , starring starring Kishen Das and Shivathmika Rajashekar in the lead roles, released in 7 November has landed in trouble. Written and directed by Sarang Thiagu, the romantic drama has used scenes
and background music from Silambarasan TR's and Trisha starrer 2010 blockbuster movie Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (VTV). Now the Madras High Court has restrained the producers of the film from using content from the hit film.

RS Infotainment a prominent production house who backed films such a
s Ko, Ko2, Viduthalai part I and Viduthalai part 2 produced VTV under collaboration with Escape Artists Motion Pictures as 2009 joint venture agreement said in court that they hold all rights, including the right for reproduction, adaptation, and public communication, under Sections 14 and 17 of the Copyright Act, 1957. The production house told the court that producers of Aaromaley used scenes and background music from VTV unauthorisedly. Following this, the court asked the makers of Aaromaley from including VTV footage or music clips in the film until the conclusion of the primary hearing.
Aaromaley is the directorial debut of Sarang Thiagu and also features Megha Akash, VTV Ganesh, Tulasi, Sibi Chakravarthy, Namritha MV, Sandhya Winfred in key roles.

Siddhu Kumar is the music composer with lyrics by Mohan Rajan, Vishnu Edavan, Vignesh Ramakrishna, and MUVI.
