Kapoor’s children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan Kapur, have been through a tough period while fighting a legal case with their stepmother, Priya Kapur, after the untimely demise of their father, Sunjay Kapur, in June 2025. A day after the Rs 30,000 crore estate dispute was concluded by the Delhi court, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a picture of them on Instagram. Currently, the Kapoors and Khans are in Pataudi for their New Year holidays. Karisma, Samaira and Kiaan joined Kareena, Saif, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan for the break at the Pataudi palace, where they also celebrated Christmas today.

Kiaan on Instagram Story, calling them ‘angels’. In the picture, their faces weren’t revealed. As the year concluded, they remembered their father with a special gesture. Samaira and Kiaan were seen wearing Sunjay’s company, Aureus Polo Team’s jerseys in the picture. Kareena addressed her nephew by his full name, Kiaan Sunjay Kapur.
Sunjay Kapur death
According to reports, Sunjay suffered an anaphylactic shock at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor, U.K, during a polo match on June 12. He was 53. After completing legal formalities and post-mortem in the U.K., Sunjay’s mortal remains were sent to India and his last rites were held on June 19 at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in Delhi. His family members and friends attended the funeral. He is survived by his wife, Priya Kapur and children Samaira, Kiaan and Azarias. Sunjay was the chairman of Sona Comstar.According to legal sources, the Delhi High Court concluded the proceedings in the matter concerning the personal estate of late industrialist Sunjay Kapur. Reportedly, the counsel for Karisma and Rani Kapur confirmed that their written submissions have now been formally filed and taken on record. The Court noted the compliance and recorded that no further filings would be permitted.
