week, assailants fired four rounds outside the residence of the Bollywood film director, Rohit Shetty, police officials said. Soon after the firing, heavy police security was deployed around Shetty's residential tower in the Juhu area. Police and forensic teams reached the spot and secured the premises to carry out a detailed examination. Officials said an investigation is underway and all possible angles are being explored to identify those responsible for the firing. No injuries were reported in the incident. In the recent development, the Mumbai Police have recorded statements of the managers of Ranveer Singh and Shetty.

Separately, the Crime Branch intensified its probe by recreating the sequence of events linked to the firing at Rohit Shetty's residence. This included the transportation of a scooter from Pune to Mumbai. Investigators retraced each stage of their alleged journey to verify key details and gather additional evidence.

In connection with the investigation, the Mumbai Police arrested five individuals, who were produced before a special court under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) on Wednesday.The court remanded all five accused to police custody until February 17.
