Steven
Spielberg's next movie is going to be out of the world, literally! At least that's what the mysterious billboards that popped up in New York City and Los Angeles are suggesting. In what appears to be a tease for fans, these billboards are as creepy as one could imagine, stating that the project will be part of 2026 movies schedule next summer.
Steven Spielberg's mysterious UFO film
Spielberg, known for
Jaws, E.T. and
Jurassic Park, seems to be bringing in UFOs in his next. Giving fans a first glimpse, the billboards, one of which went up in Times Square, simply read, "ALL WILL BE DISCLOSED 06.12.2026," alongside the filmmaker's name and next to an image of an eye peeking through the reflective silhouette of a some sort of a bird. This comes as the first trailer of the film gears up to screen ahead of
Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 19. Apart from the fact that the movie releases on May 12, 2026, nothing else is known. What makes it further intriguing is that we don't even know the title or any other plot or cast detail.
Netizens begin guessing game
Internet quickly got talking. A user reacted on X (formerly Twitter), "This teaser is giving major Close Encounters vibes... Spielberg is cooking something epic!" A second one said, "ALL WILL BE DISCLOSED 06.12.2026"? E.T. finally spilling alien tea, phone home with receipts. Times Square's sweating: is it Jurassic Park 47 or just Spielberg's grocery list? Tease us harder, king."One comment read, "UFOs, nostalgia, and Spielberg magic—can’t wait." An X user posted, "Doing my best to go in blind for Spielberg's UFO movie, but those new billboards in LA/NYC are giving off a way darker, edgier vibe than I expected for something inspired by his early classics. I'm beyond hyped."
