The makers of Mohanlal’s much-anticipated magnum opus Vrusshabha have released the film's trailer online. Vrusshabha which is gearing release on December 25 and is already being touted as one of the biggest
releases of the year. Now after the film's trailer has been launched, it has added the intensity and large canvas, further adding anticipation around the film.

The music release offered audiences an early taste of the film’s core mood. The album launch followed the release of the first single, Appa, and it has managed to strike a chord with fans. The song’s heartfelt take on a father–son relationship has hinted that the film will also feature these emotional moments between family relationships.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mohanlal also unveiled a brand-new video sharing glimpses of the film’s stunning visuals and his powerful warrior avatar. Posting the clip, he wrote, “Some stories are more than cinema, they’re legacies. This Christmas, witness that legacy roar to life in #Vrusshabha. A film that celebrates emotion, grandeur, and destiny. Releasing worldwide on 25th December 2025.” Fans took to the comments section on social media with excitement, calling it one of Mohanlal’s most ambitious projects yet.The film was initially scheduled for a November 6 release; however, the date was pushed back to allow for enhanced post-production and visual effects. Earlier, in October, Mohanlal had posted a striking poster and teaser, writing, “The wait ends here, a film that’s very close to my heart. Welcome to the World of #Vrusshabha. The teaser is just a glimpse… the real surprise awaits.”
Vrusshabha is directed by Nanda Kishore. Apart from Mohanlal, the film also stars Zahrah S Khan. It is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms, in collaboration with Connekkt Media and AVS Studios.
