Shweta Singh on Bollywood Boycott and Loneliness Theories
During the conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, Shweta said, “Yeh possible hai general public ke sath, I’m not disagreeing to it but jo insaan ka core ki spiritual hai na. Mujhe lagta hai bhai bhi ekdum aise hi the, seedhe se aur ek bhakt andar se, intellectual sound karte the vo but bhakt the andar se unko koi tod nahi sakta tha.”(Translation: “It’s possible with the general public, I’m not disagreeing, but when someone’s core is spiritual — I believe my brother was just like that, pure-hearted and deeply devoted. He may have sounded intellectual, but he was a true devotee from within. No one could break him.”)Shweta expressed that while she doesn’t entirely dismiss the theories about boycott or isolation, she believes Sushant’s strong spiritual side made him resilient to external pressures.ALSO READ: Sushant Singh Rajput’s Sister REACTS After CBI Clears Rhea Chakraborty In Death Case: Haven't Received Answers Yet
Why the Deaths of Young Celebrities Impact People Deeply
Speaking about why the passing of young and talented celebrities such as KK, Sidharth Shukla, and Zubeen Garg leaves people heartbroken, Shweta reflected emotionally, “Kyunki andar se hume lagta hain na unhone apni life cycle complete nahi ki, jaise bhai ke liye lagta hai na, shaadi ho jati, bacche kar leta, vo saari joy bhi experience kar leta life mein toh complete life hota, jo hume jaldi chodhke chale jaate hain, unke liye lagta hain.”(Translation: “Because deep down, we feel like they didn’t complete their life cycle. Like in my brother’s case — if he had gotten married, had children, and experienced all the joys of life, it would’ve been a complete journey. For those who leave us too soon, it feels incomplete.”)Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020.
