Alia Bhatt and Sharvari are headlining the first-ever female film under the YRF Spy Universe. Crossovers and cameos have been an integral part of the franchise, which started with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012.
Salman Khan’s special appearance as Tiger in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan garnered appreciation, allowing directors to curate more such whistle-worthy cinematic moments. Films within the Spy Universe will be connecting further and Alpha is the next link after War 2.
SRK cameo in Alpha?
Recently, a news portal’s report claimed that Shah Rukh’s cameo in Alpha can be expected. Pathaan 2 is expected to be the next film in the Spy Universe. The report stated that Hrithik Roshan was supposed to have a special appearance in the female-driven spy thriller, but after the failure of War 2, the direction of the narrative changed. However, industry sources confirmed that there’s no truth to the report speculating Shah Rukh’s cameo.ALSO READ: Alpha X Pathaan? "Shah Rukh Khan had blocked the entire November for the shoot of King, but at the request of Adi, he is trying to reschedule the commitment to make his cameo in Alpha a reality. He will confirm his presence in a week to 10 days. If not a proper cameo, he might just shoot for an end-credit sequence of Alpha," a source informed.

Bobby Deol’s character from Alpha was introduced with War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. The post-credit scene featured him inking the logo of the secret agency on a young girl’s hand, who could purportedly be Alia’s character. Alpha, co-starring Anil Kapoor, releases on Christmas 2025. It is directed by Shiv Rawail, the director of Netflix’s acclaimed miniseries, The Railway Men.
