After Ikkis and Alpha playing hide-and-seek at the theatres, Kartik Aryan and Ananya Panday starrer Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri entered the game and unexpectedly changed its release date too. The Dharma movie will now hit the screens a week ahead. The news was announced after Alia Bhatt-Sharvari Wagh film Alpha postponed its schedule, managing to avert a clash with Agasthya Nanda's next Ikkis. Ikkis kicks off the game

It all started when on November 3, Ikkis, starring Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agasthya Nanda announced its release date. The makes through social media revealed that the film would be coming on December 25. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Ikkis is the biopic on Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal.

Alpha changes place

But as soon as the news about Ikkis picking Christmas surfaced, fans were quickly reminded of how December 25 was already booked by Alpha. And while everyone started talking about how this would be the biggest box office clash of 2025, YRF revealed its plan of changing Alpha's release date.Alpha, the first female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe will now be arriving in theatres next year. Alpha also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles and marks Alia's entry into the much talked about spy-verse. Yash Raj Films confirmed that Alpha will now hit the big screen on April 17, 2026. The production house stated that the decision was taken due to impending VFX work as they want to present Alpha in its visually best shape. "Alpha is an extremely special film for us and we want to present the film in its most cinematic self. We have realised that the VFX will take a little longer than what we had initially assumed. We want to leave no stone unturned to make Alpha into a theatrical experience for everyone to cherish. Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri was earlier blocked for December 31. But on November 3, its makes shared that the Kartik Aaryan-Ananya Panday movie has preponed its date to December 25. This means, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri takes Alpha's place and would face-off with Ikkis.
