Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt among others hit theatres on December 5 and is already breaking records at the India box office. Now, The Kashmir Files director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, has taken to X, formerly Twitter, to laud the maker and lead actor and congratulate them on their new endeavours. The controversial filmmaker, however, admitted, he is yet to watch the film.Tweeting on X, Agnihotri shared, "BRAVO @AdityaDharFilms and @RanveerOfficial, Go, knock it out of the park. Forget the naysayers. I know how tough it is to make films that challenge their ecosystem. Go celebrate. I’ll watch it when I’m back. Best always."
Not only Agnihotri, a lot of industry stalwarts are coming out in support of the film that is inspired by real-life events, particularly Operation Lyari, an Indian government-led crackdown on local gangs and crime syndicates. Recently, actor Ranvir Shorey also watched the action thriller and sang praises in his review. Ranvir shared his review of Dhurandhar, hailing the movie for its element of thrill and gave lauded the entire team. Ranvir wrote, “Watched Dhurandhar with a full house on a Monday night, and loved it! It’s a kicka** spy thriller with 0 hate for anything except the terror infrastructure in Pakistan. Really dunno what the whining is about.”
