Zarine, the wife of veteran actor Sanjay Khan died at the age of 81 on November 7 due to age-related health complications. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Hrithik Roshan, Jackie Shroff, Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, visited the Khan residence to offer their condolences and pay their last respects. Zarine's demise has left her son Zayed heartbroken, and a video of him shows fighting back tears during her last rites.

A video from the funeral, held at Juhu Crematorium, shows an emotional Zayed Khan performing his mother’s final rites while holding back tears. Surrounded by close family and friends, the actor appeared visibly heartbroken. Sussanne Khan was seen carrying her mother’s body alongside her son and sisters, unable to take her eyes off her mother’s face. Sanjay Khan looked deeply grief-stricken, folding his hands as the paparazzi captured the sombre moment.

Hrithik Roshan, Saba Azad pay last respects to Zarine Khan

Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan’s former husband, was also present at the funeral with Saba Azad, offering support to Sussanne and the family. Remembering Zarine Khan

According to reports, Zarine had been battling age-related ailments for some time and passed away at her Mumbai residence on Friday morning. She is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and their four children, Zayed Khan, Sussanne Khan, Farah Ali Khan, and Simone Arora.Zarine began her career as a model and appeared in the 1963 Hindi film Tere Ghar Ke Samne alongside Dev Anand. Later, she transitioned into a successful interior designer and entrepreneur, carving a distinct identity for herself off-screen. After marrying Sanjay Khan, she stepped away from acting to focus on her family and design career.Just weeks ago, Sussanne Khan celebrated her mother’s 81st birthday with a heartfelt post and nostalgic photos, expressing how honoured and grateful she felt to be her daughter, a touching tribute that now stands as a reminder of their bond.
