Denying getting any calls from both the channel and Ekta's production house Balaji Telefilms, Baseer told India Today, "If something like this was happening, I am sure I would have received a call from the producers. The channel also did not reach out to me."About his elimination, the former Roadies contestant said that he was 'absolutely shocked'. "It was also very disappointing but I am happy to be back in my world, with my people. I honestly did not feel like I belonged in the Bigg Boss 19 house. 'No one came to meet me'

Further, he alleged mistreatment by the Bigg Boss 19 team as no one from the production came to meet him after his eviction. He shared, "It was so surprising that they got me out blindfolded and made me sit in the vanity. They did offer me tea, and then got the car to drop me home. Neither the channel, nor the JioCinema team nor the producers, none of the officials came to meet me. That was quite disappointing for me because I was on this show for two months and gave it so much.
