saw coming. The Jang Ki-Yong and Ahn Eun-Jin starrer K-drama got a BTS connection, but there's a catch!
About Dynamite Kiss
Dynamite Kiss follows a single woman Go Da-Rim struggling to find a direction in her life. She meets Kong Ji-hyeok, a sharp and calm team leader at a Jeju island trip, and the two end up impulsively kissing.
They move on and she later pretends to be a married mother to get hired at a baby products company, only to realise that Kong is her team manager. He starts falling for her, unaware of her secret amid a lot of workplace rom-com full of mistaken identities, and unexpected chemistry.The show also stars Kim Mu-Jun and Woo Da-Vi. Kim, in particular plays the role of Da-Rim's close friend who's a single father and becomes her fake husband.
Jin's connection with Dynamite Kiss
Soon after the show premiered, audience declared a striking resemblance between Kim and BTS member Jin. Many were quick to even post reactions on social media about how they initially believed it was indeed the K-pop idol.
A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Jin’s hairstyle during that period was distinctive, and when I saw this person, Jin and his appearance at that time immediately came to mind." Another one reiterated, "Yeah my non BTS fan kdrama buddy at work messaged me last week asking me if I thought the second lead looked like someone familiar to me … ie. Jin! I thought it was just my bangtan brain."
