She dropped the behind-the-scenes video from the latest commercial with Mom, Tanuja. She considers sharing screen space with her mother after ages to be the best ‘highlight’ of the year. Kajol took to her X handle and shared a BTS video with her mother, Tanuja. She wrote, “2025 is nearly over and this I have to say was the highlight of my year. Me and my mom on a set together realising how the madness is doubled nothing is too much.” In the video, one can see Kajol having a lot of fun with mom Tanuja during the shooting of a commercial ad. One can see great camaraderie between Kajol and Tanuja in the BTS video. The clip is now going viral on social media and netizens can’t stop gushing over their cute moments.

Earlier in a pre-release event of the Marathi film Uttar, Kajol and Tanuja were invited as special guests. There the DDLJ actress spoke about the parent-child relationship. She said, “Thank god my daughter is not here to answer this question. She will argue with me about it. It's absolutely true. It is necessary to have arguments between parents and children. If we fight, we realise that we have raised a mind that argues with us and has a point of view of their own. So, we have raised our children to think for themselves. When they argue with me, I look at it as a compliment.” When Tanuja revealed that Kajol argued a lot with her during childhood, the Maa actress jokingly said, “Mamma, I never argued with you (laughs).” Reacting to the same, Tanuja said, “You did it all the time.” Talking about Kajol, she was last seen in Trial Season 2.
