In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Danish, who is basking in praises and accolades for playing Uzair, told us, “Akshaye Khanna, as a person, is very reserved. He comes to the set, meets you and greets you with a hug, and then he stays in his own space. When the cameras roll, he is a different person altogether. He further added, “There is something very inspiring about Akshaye sir that every actor should learn. Getting into the zone, keeping it to yourself. Just perform and give your 100% every time. He is very sharp as an actor, and he quietly observes everyone.”Recalling Akshaye’s support as a co-star on Dhurandhar’s set, Danish said the actor would never frown over retakes and often gave encouraging feedback to him. Whenever Pandor felt he could be better at enacting a scene, Khanna would trust his vision and redo scenes despite knowing it was perfectly done. Previously, Akshaye and Danish worked together in 2025’s highest-grossing Hindi film, Chhaava. The former played the role of Aurangzeb in the Laxman Utekar-historical drama co-starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna.
