with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 under the hood, the phone is clearly aiming for the top spot in the premium Android bracket. iQOO has also been talking up its upgraded thermal management system, promising that the phone will stay noticeably cooler even during heavy gaming or extended multitasking. Early visuals and leaks hint at a square-shaped camera module with an RGB light ring. On the software side, it boots OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, with some India-specific tweaks expected. Leaks suggest a 6.85-inch curved Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED panel with 2K+ resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. To manage heat, iQOO has reportedly fitted a huge 8,000 sq mm vapour cooling chamber, which should help the phone stay cooler during intense sessions. Battery capacity might also get a bump, with whispers of a 7000 mAh cell supported by 100W fast charging. The camera system is expected to feature triple 50-megapixel sensors--main, ultra-wide and periscope telephoto, complete with OIS, paired with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
