Bomb Threat At Ajith Kumar, Ramya Krishnan's Chennai Residence; Police Declare It Hoax

Over the last few weeks, Tamil film celebrities have been receiving bomb threats leading security to panic among the Kollywood film circle. The latest to be caught in this is actors Ajith Kumar and Ramya
Krishnan. After a thorough investigation, police have declared that they didn't find any hidden explosive, and deemed calls as a hoax.
Ajith Kumar, Ramya Krishnan's Residences Face Bomb Threats
Ajith Kumar has two homes located in Chennai, while Ramya Krishnan's house is located in the outskirts of Chennai. All of their homes received the threats. The residences were checked, after which the officials stated that the calls and emails were hoax.A few days ago, DGP received an email threat from an unidentified sender who wrote about planting a bomb in actor Idli Kadai actor Arun Vijay's residence in the Ekkattuthangal area. Upon thorough inspection from the squad as well as police, no explosive device was found. Earlier, the residence of actors Vijay, Trisha, Nayanthara also faced threats.
Several bomb warnings kept the city police on their toes after miscreants mentioned at least 10 locations where they placed bombs. Apart from film stars, residences of governor R N Ravi, CM Stalin, were also targetted. Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) teams, along with police and sniffer dog units, were deployed immediately. Extensive searches did not yield any detection of explosives.
On the work front, Ajith, was last seen in Magizh Thirumeni's Vidaamuyarchi and Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly this year, he is rumoured to be reuniting with Adhik once again for AK64. On the racing front, his team Ajith Kumar Racing participated in 24H Middle East Trophy in Dubai; 24H European Series in Mugello, Spa-Francorchamps, Misano, which includes 26 races across two continents and four series this year.Ramya Krishnan will be seen in Ram Gopal Varma's Police Station Mein Bhoot.
