Vir Das comments on Happy New Year film
During a candid conversation between Farah Khan, Vir Das and her cook Dilip, Farah expressed, "Do you know his (Vir) film is releasing soon… do you know what film that is?" But he had no idea on what they were talking about and had a blank face. To this, he added, "But you have made Happy New Year." Farah said, “He just likes to take one word, and then he says whatever he wants." This made Vir comment, "Usi type ka pagalpan, faltu type ki picture hai. (It’s a crazy and hilarious film just like Happy New Year)" which had Farah go on with, “Wait a second, did you just call my film faltu?" Vir tried to cover up and said, “My film is fully faltu!" Farah said, “You mean to say mine was half faltu?"
