People even started speculating if the actress has gotten married secretly. Now, taking to her Instagram story, the Gangster star has finally cleared the air once and for all. Putting all rumours to rest, Kangana stated that the viral look was nothing but 'character make-up'. She also mentioned that she fails to understand that why the married woman look is turned into such a big deal.

While addressing the ongoing conjecture over her viral look, Kangana Ranaut confirmed that it is for a shoot and that someone just happen take a picture. However, she did not specify the project. She also promised her fans that she won't tie the knot secretly.She wrote, "I am filming in and around the city every single day, some one clicked this random picture with character make up and now I am getting so many phone calls, but what is the big deal about the married woman look? Acors play all kinds of roles, I won't marry secretly I promise."

Meanwhile, many fans seem to believe that the viral look could have been for Queen 2, for which Kangana is currently shooting.

Kangana Ranaut is back in the news for all the right reasons. She has reportedly begun shooting for Queen 2 in South Mumbai. The sequel to the 2014 hit is being helmed by original director Vikas Bahl and follows a new version of Rani. The first Queen was a massive critical and commercial success, earning around Rs 61.47 crore at the box office, and Kangana won the National Award for Best Actress for her performance. Fans have been waiting over a decade for this sequel, and the excitement is very high.Apart from Queen 2, Kangana also has an upcoming film with R Madhavan and another project titled Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata, which is still in the development phase. Tanu Weds Manu 3, directed by Anand L Rai, is also in the pipeline, with the script reportedly completed.As for her last release, Kangana was seen in Emergency, which hit theatres on January 17, 2025. The film was directed and produced by Kangana herself, with a budget of Rs 60 crore, though it collected only Rs 21.75 crore at the box office.
