Is Akshaye Khanna in Border 2?
Border 2 follows the same timeline as the 1997 film. Following a major attack on India, Diljit Dosanjh’s character Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon and Ahan Shetty’s Mahendra S Rawat attain martyrdom.
Varun Dhawan, who plays Colonel Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, learns about it through the radio. The anchor announces the names of the armymen who lost their lives in Longewala. Dharamvir and Bhairon are also mentioned. While their characters never appear during the war, the makers specially incorporate them in the final scene.
Is Suniel Shetty in Border 2?
In the last scene, Sunny Deol’s Colonel Fateh Singh Kaler, who avenges his soldier son, Angad’s death, visits a Gurudwara after many years. While offering prayers, he visualises martyrs, including Sekhon, Rawat, Dharamvir and Bhairon.
Akshaye and Suniel’s AI-generated hologram appears in the Gurudwara. They look at Fateh and smile.
Border 2 story
