era has come to an end with Asha Bhosle's death. The legendary singer passed away due to multi-organ failure on April 12. She died at the age of 92 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Her last rites will be performed tomorrow at the Shivaji Park crematorium at 4 pm. The veteran singer's demise has left his admirers, music lovers and celebrities saddened. In an exclusive interview with Zoom/ Telly Talk India, Jaspinder Narula expressed grief over Asha ji's death. She shared that the veteran singer was like a mother figure and her idol.

Speaking exclusively to us, Jaspinder mentioned that Asha Bhosle was her 'guru.' She further mentioned, "She was like a mother to me. She loved me. Whether we met or not, whenever she called me, she asked me, 'Where are you? How are you?' She loved me and blessed me a lot. She came to my home and gave me a lot of love and blessings. And she said such things that will always be a memory between me and her."
The singer added that Asha ji was an institution itself. Narula stated that we are losing so many talented artists one after the other. "It is very sad because we have spent our childhood listening to them. We have learned so much from their voices. It feels like someone from our family has left us," she said.Jaspinder also hoped that God gives the legendary singer 'peace' and strength to everyone to bear this pain. On a concluding note, the singer mentioned, "People will keep listening to her songs for centuries. As long as the earth exists, these voices will live."

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is deeply saddened by Asha Bhosle's death. In his tweet on X, PM mentioned that the singer's voice carried a timeless brilliance through soulful melodies and spirited compositions. PM Modi added that he will always cherish the memories of his conversations with Asha ji. He further offered condolences to his family, music lovers, and admirers. "She will continue to inspire future generations, and her songs will forever resonate in people's lives," he added.
