Taking to his official X handle (Formerly known as Twitter), Farhan unveiled the film's trailer and thanked Amitabh Bachchan for his initial narration of the story. The trailer for 120 Bahadur opens with a powerful voice-over by Amitabh Bachchan, reflecting on the once-cordial ties between India and China. These ties were shattered in 1962 when China betrayed India’s trust, sparking the fateful Indo-China war. The scene then cuts to Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh, the company commander, delivering a stirring address to his men, “You’re all sons of farmers; fighting for your land runs in your veins. And this time, the fight isn’t for our land, it’s for our motherland.”The trailer interweaves glimpses of Farhan’s character sharing tender moments with his wife, played by Raashii Khanna, with rapid, intense shots from the battlefield—depicting the courage and determination of the 120 soldiers under Shaitan Singh’s command. About 120 Bahadur

Directed by Razneesh 'Razy' Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), 120 Bahadur is set for a theatrical release on November 21, 2025. The film marks Farhan’s return to the big screen after a four-year hiatus since Toofaan.120 Bahadur will release alongside Milap Milan Zaveri’s Masti 4, starring Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Aftab Shivdasani, setting up a dramatic box-office clash.

The Battle of Rezang La

On November 18, 1962, Major Shaitan Singh led 120 soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment against 3,000–5,000 Chinese troops at Rezang La in Ladakh. Vastly outnumbered and without artillery support, his men fought with extraordinary bravery. Despite being critically injured, Major Singh refused evacuation and sacrificed his life defending his post. For his valor, he was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra. Of the 120 soldiers, 114 were martyred, but their heroic stand prevented Ladakh from falling into Chinese hands, making Rezang La a lasting symbol of courage and patriotism.
