Boss 19 contestant Farhana Bhatt’s family has filed a defamation case against co-contestant Amaal Malik’s aunt for calling her a ‘terrorist’ in a YouTube interview. The family is now seeking a public apology and Rs 1 crore in compensation for emotional distress.

Roshaan Garry, Amaal Malik's aunt has been accused of causing 'emotional' and hurtful damage to Farrhana Bhatt's family after her 'terrorist' comment in a recent interview for Fifafooz YouTube channel. As per the notice, the family 'seeks immediate removal of the defamatory video, a public apology, and Rs 1 crore in damages for the reputational and emotional harm caused.' The case has been filed at the National Commission for Women and the Maharashtra State Commission for Women for appropriate action. The video opens with Farrhana calling someone "bewakoof" (fool), which sets Mridul off. He responds sharply, saying, "Yeh bewakoof, woh bewakoof. Malti toh bewakoof hai hi. Tum padhi-likhi humare beech mein kar kya rahi ho, dost?" (He's a fool, she's a fool. Malti’s already a fool. What’s an educated person like you doing among us, huh?)Farrhana talks back saying, "Apne masters ko suna raha hai?" (Are you trying to impress your masters?) Mridul quickly responds, "Main chamcha, yeh mere masters?" (I’m a sycophant, and they’re my masters?), before calling her a "kadhai" (wok).Farrhana replies, "Main kadhai hi sahi." (I’m okay being called a wok.) Mridul takes it a step further, mocking, "Agar thodi aur padhai ki hoti, toh kadhai na banti tu." (If you’d studied a bit more, you wouldn’t have ended up as a wok.) His jab visibly rattles Farrhana, while the other contestants burst into laughter. Mridul accuses Farrhana of unsuccessfully trying to make another contestant her boyfriend and claims she doesn't have a single friend in the house, leaving her embarrassed as she walks off.
