Ram Gopal Varma Calls Rohit Shetty House Firing Case 'Fun' But Why?

filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma recently spoke about the terrifying incident that happened near Rohit Shetty's house where members from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang fire as many as four gunshots late at night and later named it as a 'warning'. Ram Gopal has now given a neutral statement on the entire episode as Rohit Shetty has not spoken his side of the story yet. He further recalled when the underworld tried to kill renowned personalities like Manmohan Shetty and Rajiv Rai from the entertainment industry during the late 1990s.

While speaking with ETimes, Ram Gopal Varma strongly believes that there should have been a 'pre-run' and currently nobody knows what the origin of the attack was. Hence, till then, there cannot be just one angle to the story. He further called the incident 'fun' adding, "It is not possible, really, for a criminal organisation with a brand to surface. Even Bishnoi's roots are in another state, not in Bombay city."RGV recalled when threats were issued to well-known personalities like Rakesh Roshan, Manmohan Shetty and Rajiv Rai during the 1997 and 1998 and how the whole thing was a 'movement' and believes that it will not come back.

While talking about Bishnoi gang, he claimed that the leader might just be taking claims and owning up incidents only because he is a criminal. He also compared him with a former criminal Ali Budesh who used to claim responsibility for everyone who was killed.

A team of police reached the spot immediately and initiated an investigation. Amid this, Lawrence’s gang took responsibility for the firing in a post on Facebook.
