And now, the group has added another feather to their wing as Jungkook teases the 2026 album, taking over the internet. Amid all the rumours, speculations and controversies, JK went LIVE and shocked the ARMY.
Jungkook Teases ARMY Aout 2026 Album
During the LIVE, Jungkook revealed that the members have been talking frequently and are in the process of assessing which songs translate best into performance. He said, "Some songs worked really well with choreography, some didn’t." Further, he added, "The title song isn’t like a title song. This album doesn’t really have that kind of concept. But if you had to choose one, there is a title track — it’s that kind of album." Earlier this year, the BTS member became the first Asian artiste to surpass 2.1 billion streams on Spotify with one song. Jungkook’s Seven and Standing Next To You, both from his 2023 album Golden, also made it to Spotify’s Top Tracks Of 2024 Global, which highlights the 50 most-streamed songs worldwide. Seven was ranked 28th, while Standing Next To You was No. 34.
Jungkook Breaks Records
He is the first Asian solo artiste to have multiple songs on Spotify’s annual global year-end chart. His song Seven by an Asian artiste to top the Spotify Daily Top Songs Global Chart for a total of 71 days. Speaking of Jungkook, the 27-year-old BTS member has recently completed his mandatory military service. Right before he enlisted in the military, Jungkook made his solo debut with the single Seven and also released his first solo album, Golden, comprising 11 songs.
