promised, the makers of Battle of Galwan have released the first track from the Salman Khan-starrer. After releasing Maatrubhumi's teaser, Salman unveiled the full song on social media. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya, the song highlights the Bollywood superstar's love for the nation. It also focuses on his family moments with Chitrangada Singh and their children in the film. The visuals move between Salman-Chitrangada's warm family moments to the intense Galwan battlefield ones. However, at the core, Maatrubhumi sets the tone of film's overall narrative.

Battle of Galwan's first song Maatrubhumi opens with a man blowing a trumpet followed by a strong focus on Indian National Flag. The visuals quickly transition towards Salman walking out of a jeep while soldiers salute him. Next, we see the superstar along with his teammates performing aarti.

The very next scene shows Salman sharing warn moments with his wife and children. And then, the track highlights Salman and his team members' intense prep before the war. All in all, Battle of Galwan's first song captures true essence of the film's storyline.Talking about the track, Master Mani Dharamkot has also sung it with Shreya and Arijit. On other hand, Sameer Anjaan has been credited as the lyricist of the track. As far as the war drama is concerned, it is directed by Apoorva and produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films. What Himesh Reshammiya said about composing Maatrubhumi? In an official statement, Himesh expressed that composing Maatrubhumi for Salman's Battle of Galwan was 'deeply emotional' for him. The music composer mentioned that the track found its soul inspired by the rythm and intensity of army beats. He further shed light on collaborating with Arijit and Shreya, calling it 'special'. About his reunion with Salman, Himesh expressed, "Of course reuniting with Salman Khan, also marking the music release from Salman Khan Films Music label makes it truly memorable." Is Battle of Galwan based on a true story?Well, Salman and Chitrangada's Battle of Galwan is based on the real-life events that took place between India and Chinese soldiers. It will highlight the 2020 clash between the two troops in the Galwan Valley. The film was set to clash with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's Alpha on April 17. However, the clash has been averted. The makers of Alpha are likely to announce new release date soon.
