Vikas penned a heartfelt note on social media. In his note, the chef highlighted that MasterChef India is not just about a cooking competition for him. Instead, he considers it as a window into India's cuisine, culture and community. Vikas further mentioned that every season of MasterChef India feels like a homecoming, returning to the land that shaped him.

Taking to Instagram, Vikas spoke about his long association with MasterChef India. "16 years of consistent dedication and devotion to creating platforms where millions of home cooks can be inspired," he wrote.

The chef further mentioned, "Every season feels like a homecoming — returning to the land that shaped me, the flavors that raised me, and the people who trusted me with their dreams. This show has given a voice to home cooks from every corner of India, and through them, the world gets to see who we truly are."An hour before the show went went on air, Vikas noted, "With the amazing @ranveer.brar @chefkunal As we open this new chapter, I feel humbled to represent India to the world, and deeply grateful to come home again and again — to the kitchens, hearts, and hopes of this incredible nation. I am truly honored to be a small part of the lives of 1.43 billion people."

Apart from Vikas, Ranveer Brar expressed excitement about the new season of MasterChef India. The chef mentioned that the new season is steeped into fun, flavour and thankfulness.
