Nadu has a new Chief Minister and the whole country is talking about it. Thalapathy Vijay, one of Tamil cinema's biggest stars, was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on May 10, 2026. His party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), made history by winning 108 seats in its very first state election. Now, all eyes are on how the film industry is reacting to this landmark moment. Even though superstar Rajinikanth conveyed his wishes to Vijay on X, his recent reaction is going viral across social media.
Rajinikanth Refuses To Comment On Vijay Becoming CM
On May 12, Rajinikanth was spotted at the Chennai airport. A reporter asked him about Vijay's swearing-in as Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister.
