The announcement came from Paramount Pictures, which confirmed that both the original film and its hugely successful sequel Top Gun: Maverick will return to cinemas for a limited one-week run starting May 15. That means audiences will once again watch Tom Cruise as Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell soaring through the skies, reliving one of cinema’s most iconic roles.
