Superstar Rajinikanth's timeless film Padayappa re-released in theaters on December 12 to mark its 25th anniversary. This day, which coincided with Rajinikanth's 75th birthday and the 50th year in films,
became a festival for fans. Among those who watched the film was actor Sivakarthikeyan. A visual shared by a fan on social media features the actor immersed in the theatrical experience, where he is seen hooting and cheering for Rajinikanth's introduction scene.

Interestingly, Sivakarthikeyan's performance in Madharaasi received praise from Rajinikanth. The actor shared a message he received from his idol, superstar Rajinikanth, on X, praising his performance in the action entertainer. Sivakarthikeyan’s post on X read, “Just received the appreciation for Madharaasi from my idol, my Thalaivar Superstar Rajinikanth sir.” He further shared the message he received from the superstar in Tamil, which read, “My god, excellent! What a performance! What actions! Super super SK! I liked it a lot. You’ve become an action hero now.
