his epic and other much-hyped films like Dune: Part Three, The Odyssey and more.He said that the idea of presenting a modern take on such an old story came from a perspective he heard in America. He explained that people there see it as a timeless tale but they are discovering it for the first time, which brings a sense of freshness and excitement.Malhotra said that the Ramayana holds deep emotional value for Indians, as generations have grown up hearing and experiencing the story in different forms. He added that presenting it on a grand cinematic scale while retaining its emotional core makes it especially meaningful."To the world, I think this is very very relevant with all the other epics that you just mentioned. The audiences in cinema want to see something that is new and different and the mindset is a lot more open to consume different kind of stories. I think we've all seen enough of the same fare but now I it's about what new can be bring?" said the producer.
