Mrunal Thakur Addresses Marriage Rumours, Shares Love Life Update - EXCLUSIVE

the beginning of the month, reports swirled that Mrunal Thakur was going to get married on Valentine’s Day to Tere Ishk Mein actor Dhanush. The actress is about to star in a new romance film, Do Deewane Seher Mein, with Gully Boy star Siddhant Chaturvedi. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, Do Deewane Seher Mein sees their characters Shashank and Roshni explore love and self-discovery in the Hindi musical. Mrunal addressed the romance and wedding rumours and also spoke about her current romantic status. The actress spoke about keeping her love life private from the public if she were in a relationship.

In an interview with Zoom, along with co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi, Mrunal revealed that she was currently single. After Siddhant shared that he would like to keep his relationships private from fans, she shared, “I am in transit right now. Once I reach there, as Sid said, I [will] find out ways to protect it. Jo cheez hai hi nahin uske baare mein kya batau [How I can talk about if I'm not in a relationship?] I'm on the verge of finding love.”

In the past, Mrunal was rumoured to have dated actors Kushal Tandon and Arjit Taneja, singer Badshah and writer Sharad Tripathi. However, the latest in the rumour mill is that Mrunal is expected to wed Dhanush on Valentine’s Day. She also joked about her upcoming nuptials as she stated, “Let's be hopeful, we still have two days to go.”However, she requested viewers to find out if she is getting married or not in Do Deewane Sehar Mein, releasing on February 20. The Hindi film also stars Ila Arun, Joy Sengupta, Ayesha Raza, Viraj Gehlani, Sandeepa Dhar, Deepraj Rana, Mona Ambegaokar, Achint Kaur, Naveen Kaushik, and Master Inesh Kotian. The romance film, which borrows its title from a Gharaonda (1977) song, is written by Abhiruchi Chand.

After the musical rom-com Do Deewane Sehar Mein, Mrunal has several other films lined up for 2026 and beyond. The actress will be seen in the Telugu and Hindi bilingual, Dacoit: A Love Story, starring Adivi Sesh. She is also one of the female leads of the Hindi comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai alongside Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hedge. Mrunal also has the Hindi film Pooja Meri Jaan and an exciting role in Atlee's 2027 multi-starrer AA22xA6 starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone. Last year, she was seen in Son of Sardaar 2 starring Ajay Devgn.
