Drishyam 3 Release Date: Jeethu Joseph Reveals Mohanlal Film Will Hit Theatres In THIS Month

superstar Mohanlal’s next Drishyam 3 has been creating a solid buzz amongst the masses for a long time now. The actor has already finished the shooting for Jeethu Joseph’s directorial venture. As we all know, the makers of Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 have already announced the release date of the Hindi version. It will hit the screens on October 2, 2026. And now, Jeethu Joseph has given a major update about the OG version of Drishyam 3. During the hospital launch event on January 6, Jeethu Joseph revealed that the Mohanlal starrer, Drishyam 3, will be released in the first week of April 2026.

Drishyam 3 Release Date Update

Jeethu Joseph opened up about his next Malayalam film, Valathu Vashathe Kallan, which is releasing on January 30, 2026, in theatres. When asked about Drishyam 3’s release, the filmmaker stated that it will be out in the first week of April 2026. While speaking about Drishyam 3’s release, Jeethu Joseph said, “Drishyam is a film that has influenced a lot of people over the years. It carries a huge weight of expectations within itself, and I ask everyone to watch it without any big expectations. The film will be available to watch in theatres in the first week of April. The official release announcement will be made soon. Additionally, on January 30, my other film, Valathu Vashathe Kallan, is releasing. I am confident it will be a good movie.”

Earlier during the launch of Drishyam 3, Jeethu Joseph had given a brief idea about what the audience would get to see in the third installment of the Mohanlal film. He said, “The story picks up four and a half years after the events of the last film. It explores what happens next in Georgekutty’s life. Fans can expect a continuation that stays true to the suspense and emotions they loved in the first two films.” Talking about Drishyam 3, the film also stars Meena, Anisba Hassan and others in pivotal roles.
