Bigg Boss Marathi 3 runner-up Jay Dudhane got arrested on January 4 at Mumbai Airport while he was going for his honeymoon with his wife, Harshala Patil, for his connection in a Rs 5 crore fraud case.
He was arrested by the Thane Police. The cops also questioned his brother, sister-in-law and his wife, Harshala, after Jay got arrested in the fraud case. Now, the actor has given his first reaction to the media. He was taken to the police van by cops when he opened up about his arrest with the media. Jay called the allegations against him ‘completely false’. He is also ready to cooperate with the Thane police.

Jay gave a statement to ANI, where he stated that he and his wife were going abroad for their honeymoon. His brother and sister-in-law also accompanied the newlyweds on an international tour. However, the cops have now instructed him not to leave the country. In the statement, Jay said, “I was about to go on my honeymoon. My brother, my wife, and my brother's wife—the four of us were going abroad. I didn't even know that an arrest warrant or an LOC (Lookout Circular) had been issued in my name. The police told me that I couldn't leave the country, so I am fully cooperating with the police. A false case hasn't been filed against me, but many things have been misrepresented. I am ready to face everything at my level. I have complete faith in justice. This case is completely false.” (sic)
Moreover, Jay mentioned that his mom and grandparents are also being questioned by the cops in connection with the fraud case.
