However, Rohan Shankar has finally broken silence and addressed recent rumours claiming he has stepped away from Hera Pheri 3, calling them completely baseless.

Finally addressing the ongoing rumours, Shankar took to X (formlerly Twitter) and shared a post in which he stated that false information was being circulated in his name. He explained that comments from an earlier interview had been twisted and presented as clickbait, leading to widespread confusion. He also requested people not to believe such reports, he made it clear that the narrative being shared online does not reflect reality. Shankar said, "Some fake news is being spread in my name about a big film. It’s completely false and has almost no truth in it."
What triggered rumours of Rohan Shankar's exit from Hera Pheri 3?
The rumours appear to have stemmed from an interaction where Shankar spoke about the film’s status. He had mentioned that discussions had taken place but things didn’t move forward due to legal complications. He also said that if the project goes ahead and director Priyadarshan remains involved, there’s a possibility he could be part of it as well. These remarks were reportedly taken out of context, triggering speculation about his exit and delays in the film.
Meanwhile, the film - Hera Pheri 3- itself has been facing legal hurdles since its announcement. A South Indian production house, Seven Arts International Limited, approached the Madras High Court, questioning the rights associated with the franchise. The company argued that producer Firoz Nadiadwala was originally granted permission to make only one Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking, which became
