The instant messaging platform is releasing a new 'Football Central 2026' hub that will bring live football updates, news and match coverage into one place.The new feature is being added inside the Updates tab and is created to help users follow their favourite teams, explore football-related channels and get real-time updates during the tournament. The hub will also suggest new channels for users to follow so they can stay updated with match coverage and breaking football news."WhatsApp is also working on additional
tools to improve the Channels experience. These upcoming features will help users discover new channels more easily. This way, channel owners will be able to attract more followers.
