Baseer Ali Reveals Why He Turned Down The 50 After Bigg Boss 19: Need To Build Back | EXCL

The upcoming reality series The 50 has a large list of contestants owing to the nature of the JioHotstar show. However, one contestant not on the list is Baseer Ali. The former Splitsvilla 10 winner Baseer Ali shared

that he is not a part of the contestant list and, in fact, turned down the show. Coming on the heels of the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 last year, where he came in 13th place, Baseer shared that he wanted to save his energy for another show. In a conversation with Zoom, Baseer opened up about his upcoming work. He shared that he was not hiding anything from fans. In fact, Baseer stated that he was a transparent person. He said, “I love talking about the work that I'm doing or about to do. I said no to The 50 because [it was] very immediate from Bigg Boss. I personally feel that emotionally, physically, mentally, I'm not ready for any show, not just The 50 or anything. Not another reality show just now. I need to build back.”

He went on to add that he wanted to be at 100 per cent before saying yes to another reality show. Baseer said, “If I walk into a show with 50 per cent battery, then I'm going to be at a zero very soon, and others are going to come at full energy, so I don't want to put myself there. Other than that, my eyes are on Khatron Ke Khiladi, I would like to save my energy and see if that's going to happen for me this year or no.” However, Baseer did tease that he's in touch with a lot of different people and something will be announced soon about his upcoming projects.
