Raja Shivaji - May 1
As the title suggests,
Raja Shivaji pays a cinematic tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire. Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, it follows his journey towards Swarajya. The film stars him as Shivaji. Raja Shivaji also features Abhishek Bachchan as Sambhaji Shahaji Maharaj (Shivaji Maharaj's brother), Sachin Khedekar as Shahaji Raje Bhosale, Bhagyashree as Jijabai, Vidya Balan as Badi Begum (Adilshah's wife), Fardeen Khan as Shah Jahan, Jitendra Joshi as Pant, Amol Gupte as Adilshah and Genelia Deshmukh as Sai Bai.
Ek Din - May 1
Ek Din, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, is produced by Aamir Khan. Directed by Sunil Pandey, the romantic drama is set in Japan and follows the story of Meera, who is diagnosed with a rare medical condition, Transient Global Amnesia. Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart - May 7
Krishnavataram, starring Siddharth Gupta and Sanskruti Jayana, has been directed by Hardik Gajjar. The first chapter of a three-part cinematic franchise, it celebrates and honours Lord Krishna. The film is presented and produced by Sajan Raj Kurup and Shobha Sant (Creativeland Studios Entertainment) along with Poonam Shroff and Parth Gajjar (Athasrikatha Motion Pictures).
Aakhri Sawal - May 8
Aakhri Sawal is touted to offer a never-before-seen glimpse into the history of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or RSS. The film is Abhijeet Mohan Warang. Presented by Nikhil Nanda, the film is produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt, and co-produced by Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand.

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do - May 15
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do follows the story of Prajapati Pandey, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, who is surrounded by three women – Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi. It is a spiritual sequel of Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday’s
Pati Patni Aur Woh. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is produced by T-Series head Bhushan Kumar along with B R Studios, with creative production by Juno Chopra.
Bandar - May 22
Bandar is helmed by Anurag Kashyap. It is a dark thriller that touches upon societal issues. The film has been penned by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee. Bandar had premiered at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival 2025 in the Special Presentation category. The cast includes Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, Raj B Shetty, Jitendra Joshi, Sapna Pabbi, Indrajith Sukumaran, Riddhi Sen, and Nagesh Bhosle.

Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai stars Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in the lead. It is directed by David Dhawan. The film has a strong supporting cast, including Maniesh Paul, Kubbra Sait, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy and Chunky Panday. It features Varun as Jassi, Mrunal as Baani and Pooja as Preet. The rom-com's trailer is expected to launch soon.
