Ram Charan Says 'Women Have Been Our Greatest Strength' After Welcoming Twins With Wife Upasana

star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela have a reason to rejoice! The couple has been blessed with twins. Chiranjeevi (Ram's father) shared the good news on social media on January 31. He assured everyone both mother and her babies are healthy and doing fine. In his tweet, the actor mentioned that welcoming the little ones in their family is moment of pure joy. He further thanked everyone of their prayers, love and blessings. And now, Ram and Upasana have shared their first statement on being blessed with twins. They are already proud parents to their baby girl, Klin Kaara.

In a joint Instagram post with his wife Upasana, Ram mentioned, "Happy to share that we have been blessed with a baby boy & girl. Having two daughters and a son fills us with immense gratitude. The women in our life have been our greatest strength. I’m very thankful to all our fans, family and well-wishers who have stood by us and supported us through every moment."

On other hand, Upasana shared, in an official statement, that her father always believed that clarity of intention and faith go hand in hand. She further expressed that she feels blessed to be a mother of three, exactly how she and Ram envisioned. "Our hope is to raise children who are strong yet compassionate, aware that privilege carries responsibility - and that true legacy lies in giving back," added Upasana.

Upasana Konidela on embracing motherhood

Back in 2023, Upasana had revealed why she was proud to embrace motherhood. In an Instagram post, she stated that she didn't do it to conform to society expectation or fit. Her decision to become a mother was not driven by a desire to carry on legacy or to strengthen her marriage. "I chose to have a child when I was emotionally prepared to give unconditional love & care that my child deserves for his/her overall well-being," she added.

On the work front, Ram was last seen in S Shankar's Game Changer. The actor shared screen space with Kiara Advani in the political action drama. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the movie was theatrically released on January 10, 2025.
