Kamal Haasan paid a moving tribute to the late Tamil poet on social media. The actor remembered Tamilanban for his prolific work in the world of poetry and books.
Kamal Haasan's tribute to Erode Tamilanban
Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Kamal Haasan penned in Tamil, "Starting from the traditional poetry of the Pavendar lineage, engaging in modern poetry with the Vanambadi movement, and thereafter, through his tireless pursuit, continuously creating works in various poetic forms such as haiku, senryu, limerick, and more, is the poet Erode Tamilanban."
His tweet further read, "Having lived a fulfilling life and, throughout that life, having given abundantly of complete Tamil books, contributing immensely to the language, this great soul has today attained fulfillment. My heartfelt condolences."
