Parvathy Thiruvothu is stepping into a new avatar with her first police role in Pradhama Dhrishtya Kuttakkar. The Pooja ceremony of the film was held on 2 January Friday. Ahead of this, the makers shared
the film’s title poster, which depicts a striking scene of a police officer’s leg stepping over a blood-stained surface, hinting at its intense crime-thriller tone. Directed by Shahad, known for Prakashan Parakkatte and Anuragam, the investigative thriller is set against the backdrop of a police station and marks Parvathy’s first cop role in Malayalam cinema. She previously portrayed a police officer in the Telugu series Dhootha alongside Naga Chaitanya.Parvathy Thiruvothu Begins Shoot Of Pradhama Drishtiya KuttakkarSharing the news of the film's commencement, Parvathy tagged the director and posted "Here's to a great shoot for us, kudos to your determination." Jointly written by PS Subramaniam and Vijesh Thottingal, the film will be shot across Kottayam and Ernakulam. The cast features Vijayaraghavan and Mathew Thomas in key roles, with Sidharth Bharathan, Unnimaya Prasad, Azeez Nedumangad, and Vinay Forrt in supporting parts.
