Dharmendra Health: Veteran Actor Discharged From Hospital

Dharmendra, who was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital on Monday, has been discharged. The veteran actor was reportedly suffering from breathlessness at the time of hospitalisation. After remaining

under medical observation, reports confirm that he has recovered. According to PTI, Dharmendra was discharged on Wednesday morning.

As per PTI’s report, the doctor at Breach Candy hospital confirmed Dharmendra’s discharge and said the Deols have taken him back home. Earlier today, a video of an ambulance leaving the hospital served as the latest update on his health. Bobby Deol, the younger son of Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur, was seen exiting the hospital a couple of minutes before the ambulance. The veteran actor will continue receiving treatment from home.

Family members reacted to death rumours

After reports of Dharmendra’s death surfaced, Hema Malini tweeted, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.” Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s elder daughter Esha Deol issued a statement and slammed false rumours. She wrote, “THE MEDIA SEEMS TO BE IN OVERDRIVE AND SPREADING FALSE NEWS. MY FATHER IS STABLE & RECOVERING. WE REQUEST EVERYONE TO GIVE OUR FAMILY PRIVACY. THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS FOR PAPAS SPEEDY RECOVERY. ESHA DEOL.” Sunny Deol’s team also reacted with a statement that read, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly avoid spreading false rumours regarding his health. We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.” On Tuesday evening, Dharmendra’s fans gathered outside his residence in Mumbai. Police security was tightened amid the health scare. Aamir Khan and his girlfriend Gauri Spratt were seen at the hospital to visit Dharmendra. We wish Dharmendra a speedy recovery.
