Ben Affleck, Matt Damon Laud The Rip Co-Star Teyana Taylor, Here's What Leonardo DiCaprio Said About The Singer

Netflix's crime drama, The Rip, starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, dropped on the OTT giant today, and it has taken over social media. The duo play Miami cop partners Lt. Dane Dumars and Detective Sergeant

J.D. Byrne, putting their friendship to the test. After discovering millions of dollars hidden in a safehouse, the officers start to question whom on their team they can trust, including each other. Ben had been promoting the film enthusiastically, and at a recent interview, he made a huge revelation about his pal, Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Rip Cast Lauds Teyana Taylor

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Ben lauded his The Rip co-star Teyana Taylor. He said, "I talked to Paul [Thomas Anderson], and it was like, everybody raves about her."

Further, he added, "I ran into DiCaprio, and he had nothing but incredible things to say. And these are informal conversations, not in front of a camera or anything, where people will often say, 'Uh, it was tough,' or some kind of signal that maybe it's not what it seems or whatever. But she's really the opposite of that, and she blows people away." Adding to the praise, Matt Damon shared, "She is awesome. She is absolutely awesome. She's so professional, so great, just a really, really good person. It's so wonderful to see somebody who you know is that talented be received by the world, and for everybody else to realize it. She's clearly somebody with a lot to say and a lot to give. I mean, she's nominated for a Grammy as well. She's just so unbelievably talented with this kind of ambition to put herself out there in so many ways. It's just great to see her acknowledged."

Coming back to The Rip, official synopsis of the film reads: "Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray.
