On X (formerly Twitter), A24 posted, "Every wedding has some. THE DRAMA, a new comedy from Kristoffer Borgli starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, opens in theaters April 3. Save the date." The happily engaged couple have their relationship tested when a secret is revealed during their wedding week. The couple grows increasingly erratic and become violent heading into the happiest day of their lives, their wedding.

Interestingly, an ad was placed in an American newspaper, The Boston Globe, under the engagements section with the actors and shows the same wedding date and the movie's opening day to promote the film this week. It said: Mr and Mrs Roger Harwood of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, announce the engagement of their daughter, Emma Harwood, to Charlie Thompson, son of Mr and Mrs Alan Thompson of London, England. Mr Harwood, a decorated military veteran, is proud to share this joyous news.

The ad goes on to share info about the characters' background and adds, "Miss Harwood is a 2013 graduate of Portside High School and a 2017 honours graduate of Boston University, where she earned her BA degree in English. She is currently employed at Mission Books. The future groom, Mr Thompson, was a 2004 graduate of Eaton College and went on to earn his PhD in Art History from Tufts University. Robert Pattinson and Zendaya's 2026 films

Besides The Drama, the co-stars are set to star in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three in 2026. In Nolan's epic saga, Zendaya plays Greek goddess Athena, while Pattinson is Ithacan suitor Antinous. The Odyssey is set to release on July 17, 2026.For Dune 3, Zendaya is reprising her role as Chani in the sci-fi franchise, and Pattinson joins the films in an unknown role. Reports suggest he is to play Scytale, an antagonist in the feature film releasing on December 18, 2026.
