Preet Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana and Wamiqa Gabbi, along with singers Zahrah S Khan and Faheem Abdullah, visited the Gir National Park in Gujarat for the promotions of their upcoming romantic comedy, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. Multiple videos from the promotional activity went viral on social media. In one of the clips, Rakul could be seen walking around the premise, while Ayushmann, Wamiqa and the rest of the team were seated in their respective jeeps. Since the Gir National Park is a restricted and protected zone, the internet questioned the actress for taking rules for granted.
Rakul Preet Singh did not violate rules, confirms forests authority
However, the Gir National Park authorities issued an official statement clarifying that Rakul did not violate any rules and wasn’t walking inside the National Park. The Deputy Conservator of Forests, Wildlife Division, Sasan-Gir, confirmed that the video was recorded outside the entry point. The incident did not take place inside the restricted zone, the statement clarified.
