Artificial intelligence is no longer content living inside phones and laptops. It is slowly creeping into things we wear and now a California-based startup called Pickle wants to take that idea a step further. The company has unveiled Pickle 1, a pair of AI-powered augmented reality glasses it boldly describes as a “soul computer.” According to Pickle, these glasses are designed to remember everything you see and do, turning daily life into something your AI can recall and assist with later. What Makes Pickle 1 DifferentUnlike familiar smart glasses such as the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, Pickle 1 is built around anticipation rather than reaction. Instead of waiting for voice commands, the glasses claim to understand context in real time and act before
you even ask.The glasses runs on Pickle OS, the company’s in-house operating system. Pickle says the OS continuously gathers context from your surroundings and interactions, organising everything into what it calls a single memory cluster. The boldest claim is “infinite memory,” meaning the system can recall things you saw or heard whenever they become relevant again. How You Interact With ItPickle 1 uses conversational avatars that appear in the display and talk to you naturally. There’s also a fingerprint scanner built into the frame, ensuring that only the owner can unlock and use the glasses. Everyday tasks like reading messages, booking rides, making reservations, or shopping online are all meant to happen seamlessly in the background. To deliver personalised suggestions, Pickle recommends wearing the glasses for at least three hours a day and allowing around 50 visual interactions. That learning curve is central to how the AI adapts to each user.
